We will not teach you how to program − we will teach you which existing tools are out there to process NGS data and to infer phylogenies.
BFSS lectures are interactive, in which the participants are encouraged to ask questions and will be charged with questions / exercises by the lecturer.
Most lectures include life demo sessions (but typically no hands-on part).
Participants will receive digital materials that will enable them to repeat what was demonstrated at the school, as well as helpful lists of software applications.
Please note that no computers are available. While we encourage participants to bring their own laptop/tablet, computer use is not necessary to follow the schools’ program.
